   <title><![CDATA[Sponsorship Coordinator (Brooklyn Academy of Music, Fort Greene)]]></title>
   <description>&lt;p&gt;Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM), an internationally recognized presenter of contemporary performing arts and cinema, seeks a full-time &lt;em&gt;Sponsorship Coordinator&lt;/em&gt; to provide support in all areas of the Sponsorship department, in order to meet or exceed BAM&amp;rsquo;s annual corporate fundraising goal of over $3,000,000. The Sponsorship Coordinator reports to the Director of Sponsorship.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;Responsibilities:&lt;/p&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;Coordinate execution of sponsorship benefits contracts (ticket orders, acknowledgement, on-site promotions, etc.) by communicating directly with sponsors and various BAM units &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Develop and write grant and sponsorship proposals &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Draft sponsorship benefits contracts &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Research corporate prospects via web and print articles &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Cultivate donor relationships through correspondence, including writing and sending thank-you letters for all corporate contributions, create sponsorship result reports &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Coordinate BAM Corporate Membership programs &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Obtain and send sponsor signatures and process all sponsorship contracts&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Handle and code all incoming payments from BAM&amp;rsquo;s sponsors &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Track the budget for the department and process purchase orders by communicating with both outside vendors and BAM units &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Assist Sponsorship Manager to supervise the quality of work produced by Sponsorship Intern &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Coordinate BAM Monthly Ticket Raffle Program &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Coordinate &amp;ldquo;BAMbucks&amp;rdquo; program&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Assist in planning small sponsor related special events (sponsor outings, receptions, etc.)&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Act as a host to visiting sponsors at face-to-face meetings, opening night receptions, Galas, and miscellaneous events; occasionally &amp;ldquo;meet and greet&amp;rdquo; at the Patron Table on performance nights&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;File paperwork, maintain office organization and other administrative duties as assigned&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;</description>

   <title><![CDATA[Marketing &amp; Audience Development Coordinator (Brooklyn Academy of Music, Fort Greene)]]></title>
   <description>&lt;p&gt;Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM), an internationally recognized presenter of contemporary performing arts and cinema, seeks a full-time Marketing &amp;amp; Audience Development Coordinator to promote BAM&amp;rsquo;s diverse programs including mainstage, music, family, literary, senior, student, community, and other events to targeted audiences. This person will also contribute to BAM&amp;rsquo;s efforts to be a community leader and a leading international arts organization. The Marketing &amp;amp; Audience Development Coordinator reports to the Director of Marketing.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="text-decoration: underline;"&gt;Responsibilities:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;Develop and implement marketing plans for BAMcaf&amp;eacute; Live, Senior Cinema, literary/storytelling programs, Live in HD programs, community events, student cultivation initiatives, etc.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Project manage the creation and distribution of print and digital marketing materials (including postcards, posters, ads, emails, signage, cinema slides, merchandise, etc.) - creating timelines, messaging/ positioning, copywriting/editing, working with design team and departments, proofing, gaining approvals. &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Work with vendors/media to make media buys, negotiate rates, and ensure timely delivery of materials.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Maintain and balance budgets for each of the programs for which responsible.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Initiate outreach/grassroots efforts with community and target audiences to sustain existing&amp;nbsp; audiences and cultivate new audiences&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Manage the creation of all marketing inserts (for BAMbill program book) including building schedules, copyediting, working with design on ad production, proofing, approvals, sending final artwork to print, and coordinate distribution with Theater Management. &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Improve and increase visibility of BAM venues and services to potential rental clients. Provide basic marketing needs for rental events.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Organize and execute offsite marketing events, such a MetroTech, Brooklyn Book Festival, Student Rush events at local universities, etc.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Oversee the campus ambassador program by recruiting and managing student BAM enthusiasts to promote BAM programs to fellow students.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Coordinate/traffic digital media assets between the Marketing, Design, and Digital Media departments.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Assist the Director of Marketing with seasonal brochures and branding campaigns.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Support marketing team members with their projects as necessary&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Manage special projects, programs, and events as they arise&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;</description>

   <title><![CDATA[Accounts Payable Administrator (Brooklyn Academy of Music, Fort Greene)]]></title>
   <description>&lt;p&gt;Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM), an internationally recognized presenter of contemporary performing arts and cinema, seeks a full-time &lt;em&gt;Accounts Payable Administrator &lt;/em&gt;to process all vendor invoices and payments in a timely fashion. The AP Administrator will provide customer service to vendors and BAM&amp;rsquo;s managers in order to accurately resolve payment issues and disputes.    <description>&lt;p&gt;BAM spring internships generally run 12-20 weeks between&amp;nbsp;January and June&amp;nbsp;(timing may vary by department)&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Current openings (as of 1/11/10)&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="text-decoration: underline;"&gt;SPONSORSHIP (DEVELOPMENT)&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;The intern will manage sponsor benefit details, develop sponsorship strategy materials and research new corporate prospects.
