This position provides leadership to Internal Audit staff based upon subject matter expertise in key company processes in compliance with FDA and GMP.&amp;nbsp; Assist Director, FDA compliance with the annual risk assessment process, audit plan development and department resource allocation as it relates to FDA.&amp;nbsp; Liaison as required with internal and external stakeholders, including RAI&apos;s regulatory compliance group and FDA as well as RAI&apos;s regulatory compliance group.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Additionally, this individual:&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;Supports the annual internal audit process through the development of internal operating procedures, generates annual internal audit schedule, conducts internal audits and/or ensure audits are performed by qualified auditors, ensure effective corrective and preventative actions are implemented, and closure of audits. Ensures consistency of systems/practices across product lines across the Opcos and their conformance to other industry practices. &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Works collaboratively with teams from manufacturing, facilities, quality, engineering regulatory, finance, marketing, etc. to ensure the performance of internal audits and identification for areas of improvement to ensure compliance to FDA and Regulatory requirements. &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Conducts tracking &amp;amp; trending of internal audits for management review &amp;amp; identify corrective &amp;amp; preventative actions as needed for compliance. &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Proactively identifies corporate and Opco risks and issues as part of the annual risk assessment process.&amp;nbsp; Works with client groups to identify potential process review opportunities during annual audit plan development.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Reviews, critiques, and edits audit reports or review memos to ensure they require minimal editing by IAD management.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Analyzes business processes to identify efficiencies, key objectives and optimal level of control / risks.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;p&gt;We are looking for individuals who thrive in a high performance environment and have the talent to deliver on business objectives.
