&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="text-decoration: underline;"&gt;Position Summary&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Under the direction of the Director for Human Resources is responsible for the management of human resources information systems by supervising data input, developing software applications and reports, and providing information in a timely manner as requested by the Director for Human Resources.&amp;nbsp; Supervise payroll services including the coordination of the duties of the payroll specialists, time and attendance records, pension, benefits, workers&amp;rsquo; comp, and OSHA recordkeeping.&amp;nbsp; Oversees the transition and use of the City of Detroit&amp;rsquo;s software and hardware (Oracle) system to ensure DPL&amp;rsquo;s payroll services are current and operable.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="text-decoration: underline;"&gt;Reporting Relationships&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;This position reports to the Director for Human Resources.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="text-decoration: underline;"&gt;Essential Functions&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="text-decoration: underline;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;span style="text-decoration: underline;"&gt;Human Resources Information Systems Implementation&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;middot;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Overviews flow of HR-related information including data entry, retrieval, and generation of standard and ad hoc reports.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;middot;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Manages data integrity and maintains the internal Library system for values, codes, tables, security, and backup files&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;middot;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Serves as liaison with the Information Systems department on technical matters and equipment maintenance&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;middot;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Coordinates interfacing systems with the City of Detroit and internal systems such as payroll, time and attendance records, vacation and sick time entitlements and usage, FMLA recordkeeping, Deferred Compensation and pension reporting, medical, dental and disability benefits, workers&amp;rsquo; comp and OSHA recordkeeping&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;middot;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Serves as liaison with third-party vendors for data transmission and changes in benefit plans&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;middot;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Conducts training for Payroll Specialists as needed.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;middot;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Supervises keeping of confidential records such as medical files and supervisors&amp;rsquo; performance appraisals&lt;/p&gt;
