Responsibilities:

Customer Service

Objective:

The Financial Analyst will assist in the preparation of the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and the month-end closing process as well as prepare monthly financial statements and supporting schedules.

Interact with management at plant and corporate levels to substantiate variances created by reforecast. Enter budget information into the TM1 system and complete various supplemental schedules required by TM1. Assist in preparation of budget/reforecast presentations to management.

Other - Assist with the new ERP system implementation. Assist other departments with financial reporting and analysis. Assist all departments with the use of system resources to increase reporting accuracy, identify process improvements, and create efficiencies.

Maintenance Mechanic (Greenville - TX)

Objective: The Maintenance Mechanic will ensure optimum equipment operating reliability and resulting product quality by performing mechanical maintenance on all factory assets.

Responsibilities:

Mechanic - Observe mechanical devices in operation, make necessary adjustments to functional parts of equipment devices and control instruments to ensure optimum performance, and troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues. Dismantle devices to gain access to and remove and repair or replace defective parts. Examine form and texture of parts to detect imperfections or dimensional changes. Repair or replace defective parts. Install special functional and structural parts in devices. Clean and lubricate parts. Start devices to test their performance. Assist in prioritizing work orders and preventative maintenance tasks. Communicate findings and work performed both orally and by entering information into CMMS system for that particular asset. Set up and operate drill press, grinder, mill and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts. Ensure required spares/parts are stocked for all assets and in particular for preventative maintenance program, and create and keep updated a list of critical spares.

Welding - Weld metal components together to fabricate or repair products, such as machine parts, tanks, and other plant equipment or structures, according to layouts, blueprints or work orders. Perform thermal cutting and grinding, repair broken or cracked parts, fill holes and increase size of metal parts, position and clamp together components of fabricated metal products preparatory to welding.

The Expediter will verify and maintain records on outgoing product shipments, prepare product for shipment, verify material receipts and maintain receiving records and load, unload, and move materials throughout the plant.

Responsibilities:

Shipping & Receiving - Count, weigh and measure outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading. Ensure that yeast shipments are correctly loaded onto the proper trucks. Affix shipping labels and instructions onto packages. Operate forklift and use hand truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments from storage or work area to trucks. Maintain the storage and identification of inbound factory goods in the plant warehouse. Interface with Customer Service and develop and maintain excellent rapport with drivers and vendors. Unload railcars and barges. Unpack and inspect incoming shipments, reject damaged items and record shortages/overages.

Production - Assemble wooden and cardboard containers. Open and close containers. Load and unload materials onto or off of pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand. Convey materials from storage or work sites to designated area. Secure lifting attachments to materials, convey loads to destination, signal crane or hoisting operators to move loads to destination. Attach identifying tags, marks or labels to containers. Route items to proper departments. Stack and assemble materials. Lift heavy objects by hand or with a power hoist. Clean work area, machines, and equipment to assist machine operators. Shovel loose materials such as sand, gravel, metals, plastics, or chemicals into machine hoppers or vehicles and containers. Operate floor scrubber to clean aisles and work areas. Sweep and mop floors. Operate pressure washer to clean tanks, dikes, and plant exterior and interior. Asset Maintenance - Institute and oversee maintenance programs that preserve asset life, ensure maximum equipment availability and capacity, and that do not interfere with production. Institute and oversee a system to ensure that all vital records on plant equipment are complete and up-to-date. Identify processes/equipment that are under-performing or limiting production, perform root cause analyses and implement appropriate preventive/corrective actions to maximize equipment availability and efficiency. Demonstrate year over year improvements in throughput, equipment availability and downtime.

Process Improvement, Operations Control & Regulatory Requirements - Develop and implement systems to continuously improve product and process consistency and to identify and eliminate deviations from operating standards. Ensure that all plant utilities operate efficiently, within budget, in regulatory compliance, and provide the levels of services required by the Production Departments. Institute, manage and lead a continuous improvement process that consistently reduces cost and increases process efficiency and plant production capacity.
