Schedules and pre-registers patients for diagnostic testing at Aspen Valley Hospital. Obtains pre-certification from insurance companies. Strong phone etiquette and exceptional customer service skills required. Previous experience in a hospital setting and familiarity with medical terminology desired. Prior insurance verification preferred. Provides excellent customer service to clients. Must be detail oriented. Position works primarily in the Glenwood Springs office with occasional shifts onsite at Aspen Valley Hospital.

Position works 36 hours per week.

Insurance verification, Medical terminology and MediTech experience preferred.

Under general supervision of the Manager and Chief Technologist this person is responsible for providing Ultrasound Images of technical detail, requiring independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative in producing quality radiographic exams and providing clerical services to the department. Performing AB/ limited OB, breast, vascular and echo. Must have heavy OB GYN ultrasound experience. Two Accuson Sequoia's. Minimum 2 years perfoming echo, OBGYN, Vascular and General desired.

Diet Aide II (Aspen Valley Hospital)
