YouthCrossing Creative Arts Leader: Multi-Campus (MO, Chesterfield/Fenton)

We are a creative church and we are looking for a person to fill a creative arts position. So unless you have creativity coming out of your ears, please move on. If you end up in this position you will report to the youth pastor. Your main responsibility will be to provide leadership and management to staff and volunteer teams across our 3 campuses. But you’ll also be getting your hands dirty in working closely with student bands, technical teams, creating videos, doing graphic design, and managing our communication processes via our website, social media and email. There might be a little bit of worship leading in there as well. If you can lead students in doing any of that you are headed in the right direction. And in all of it you’ve got to be an eager learner and quick adapter. In the end you’ve got to bleed for creating a safe environment for students all over the spiritual spectrum to take steps on their journey with Jesus. And when I say “all over the spiritual spectrum” I mean just that.

Youth Ministry Administrative Assistant: Chesterfield Campus (MO, Chesterfield)

This full time position will provide administrative support for the Youth Ministry team at The Crossing at Chesterfield. This person will work closely with the Youth Pastor and staff and be able to easily create organization out of chaos and streamline processes and communication. Responsibilities include:

Attend YouthCrossing services, meetings and events
Assist in recruiting, managing and coordinating volunteers
Quarterback Chesterfield YouthCrossing services with attention to details and safety
Provide administrative support to the campus Youth pastor, including managing his schedule
Provide administrative support for planning camps and events
Assist in planning monthly leader meetings
Keep updated records for volunteers on background checks, classes attended and leadership applications
Disseminate curriculum and material to small group leaders
Gather resources for services and events and ensure set-up occurs for the campus services
Take notes at various meetings
Compose and edit communication pieces
Manage Arena software database system for volunteers and students
Data entry for all campus students & families into Arena database
Develop, implement and delegate new student follow-up process
Provide communication and resources across various campuses
Receive and respond to calls and emails requesting general information about YouthCrossing
Attend weekend services as a representative of the YouthCrossing staff

2012-13 Year-Long Internship Program (MO, Chesterfield)

Director of Missions (MO, Chesterfield/Fenton)

The Director of Missions is responsible for developing and growing international, national and local missions initiatives. Current international missions activities include cooperative efforts with Living Water International in Asia, Africa and South America as well as support of local church efforts in Africa. Current St. Louis activities include significant volunteer outreach efforts in urban north St. Louis City and outreach activities in the vicinity of the 3 suburban Crossing locations. The Director will work with senior pastoral staff in developing a vision for how The Crossing church expands its missions efforts locally and internationally to fulfill the church’s scriptural mandate to lift up hurting people and help them experience God’s grace. The ideal candidate for this job will have strong leadership and administrative skills, be able to navigate through multi-cultural settings and have a passion for involving volunteers in outreach efforts. This individual must have a passion for Jesus Christ, the vision of The Crossing, and a heart for the under-resourced in our community and around the world.

TechArts Specialist-Audio (MO, Chesterfield)

This full-time position will serve under the Director of Technical Arts and will work under the direction of the Associate Technical Arts Director - Specialists. This position will oversee and implement the requirements for audio systems and training for effective execution at all campuses of The Crossing.

Responsibilities:

Audio Training

Provide and ensure well trained volunteer and staff operators for audio needs across church campuses, including:
1. Develop a comprehensive training program and maintain continuing education and support for TechArts staff and volunteer operators of technical arts systems (primarily audio)
2. Provide one-on-one, hands-on training sessions for all new and experienced volunteers and staff
3. Help identify potential volunteers to serve on audio teams

Audio Systems

Manage technical arts systems (primarily audio) across church campuses, including:
1. Oversee and specify any design changes or upgrades
2. Develop, communicate and oversee standard guidelines for use of technical arts systems (primarily audio)
3. Develop and maintain inventory log of all audio systems and associated components
4. Develop and implement maintenance schedule and log of all audio systems and associated components
5. Ensure systems are in excellent working condition and are user-friendly

General

Participate in Programming and Production meetings, TechArts staff and related meetings
Fill the role of audio mixer as needed
Fill the role of TechArts lead as needed
Other staff duties as required by leadership.

Outreach Projects Coordinator (MO, Chesterfield/Fenton)

The purpose of this part-time position (30 hours per week) is to coordinate Outreach Project Workday activities and assist with other Outreach events as needed. Project Workdays are a key place for volunteers to "plug in" and learn about the vision of Outreach. The Projects Coordinator is responsible to oversee all aspects of these workdays including developing relationships with families and organizations we serve. This role is also responsible for recruiting, coordinating, and teaching volunteers. This person works with leaders to ensure all aspects of a successful workday are in place and they do all that is necessary to make sure work days are conducted in a safe manner.
